Jeffrey Hamilton is a seasoned leader and strategic advisor with over 25 years in financial services, having driven growth at major institutions like J.P. Morgan and Bank of America. He achieved notable success as Head of Canada Investment Banking, leading the firm to become Canada’s top M&A advisor in 2021 with 28 deals valued at $120.7 billion.
Jeff is also the founder of Longwing Capital Advisors, a financial advisory firm in Calgary. Longwing provides differentiated, value driven advice for clients seeking solutions to complex financial and strategic issues, whether cross border or domestic.
Max Wensel
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
Max Wensel is an experienced investment banker, financial leader, and technologist with a decade of experience in a variety of industries including investment banking, biotechnology, and private company investing.
Mr. Wensel has provided sophisticated internal and external financial advisory and capital markets expertise to private and public corporate clients across Canada. He has worked for leading firms at all corporate stages, including Canada’s largest biotech employer, Stemcell, and CIBC. Mr. Wensel also serves as Chairman of the Board of Mind Your Plastic, a registered Canadian charity focused on eliminating plastic pollution in Canada.
